The Doll Repair Lady - Carol Kuhn-Ratliff "Each piece that I have the pleasure to work with has a very special meaning to me. While my goal is to restore every piece to a 'like-new' condition, my true desire is to bring back that fleeting moment in time when that doll was first enjoyed by it's owner..." I have been working with dolls and their repair for well over two decades and I have done extensive work with many prestigious and well known organizations, museums, and businesses. Some of my most recognized work has been with the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, Indiana State Museum, , etc. While nationally recognized, I am most well known for my skills with Porcelain, Bisque, Wood, Vinyl, Plastics, Wood and even Celluloid. My background entails many types of qualifications, schooling, and memberships with leading doll organizations. While the methods of doll repair have changed considerably over the years, I strive to utilize the least invasive methods of repair available. I have taught many classes involving different student levels of doll repair, construction and costuming over the years, ./images/but my focus presently is working entirely with my clients' treasures and heirlooms. Although I have done thousands of repairs over the years, my goal is to make sure you are satisfied and happy with my work!
